With the first quarter behind us and the continued excitement of the opening of the Labor and Delivery/Surgical Center, we could not be more excited in Masindi.  I am pleased to announce that for the second month MKMC has exceeded the 100% operational sustainability mark.  Operational sustainability is based around meeting the immediate needs of today without jeopardizing the ability to continue to meet those needs in the future.  I could not be more proud of our leadership and staff at MKMC.  Each one of them posses a passion and commitment to serving the people of Masindi.  Their commitment and hard work have served as a foundation for the future success of PMI in Uganda.  This is an exciting time and I am privileged to be able to share this journey with an amazing staff!
